POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical, alarm, plumbing, equipment, gym equipment, mechanical equipment, elevators, generators, parking lot surfaces, and landscaping.
Along with being responsible for venue space setup, tear down, clean up, and maintenance under the direction of the Facilities Manager and Experiences Director.
The Facilities Manager will work with you to ensure regular hours, overtime hours, and the work-life balance are maintained.
Events will be planned out in advance with plenty of time to adjust the working schedule as appropriate.
The Facilities department will staff and plan for workload appropriately.
This may mean that you will work smaller events by yourself, including nights and weekends.
Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist oversees the maintenance of the properties and ensures they are compliant with all applicable regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS Assist with venue space setup, tear down, clean up, maintenance, and various projects as part of the Facilities Department.
Opening, performing security checks, and proper closing of the venue for events during the week and weekends.
Maintain a professional presence at events held at the venue.
Ensure the proper use, care, and working state of the venue during events.
Emergency Response:
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Vendor Coordination:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services.
Coordinate with Facilities Department Manager and Staff for regular working hours, overtime, and other job-related and work-life balance needs.
Routine Maintenance:
Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs of facilities and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues and implement solutions promptly.
Preventive Maintenance:
Develop and follow a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment and systems to minimize downtime and prevent breakdowns.
Equipment Repairs:
Repair or replace faulty components, machinery, or systems as needed, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
Building Repairs:
Conduct minor structural repairs, such as repairing doors, windows, walls, and floors.
Safety Inspections:
Perform safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
HVAC Maintenance:
Maintain and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure temperature control and comfort for employees and products.
Plumbing and Electrical:
Address plumbing and electrical issues, such as leaks, wiring problems, and lighting maintenance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials.
REQUIRED SKILLS Technical Proficiency:
Possess strong technical skills in the areas of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and find effective solutions in a timely manner.
Physical Stamina:
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Time Management:
Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet maintenance needs and deadlines.
Customer Service:
Provide courteous and helpful service to internal employees and external contractors when interacting with them.
Computer Skills:
Familiarity with basic Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS Willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a high level of integrity and strong work ethic.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.
).
The technician should be physically fit and capable of performing these tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS This role will primarily work indoors within a warehouse or office setting, but may also be required to work outdoors occasionally, exposed to varying weather conditions.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS Must be willing to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
