Walnut Creek Animal Clinic located in Mansfield, TX is looking for a kennel attendant to join our family.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, reliable, and able to work with a team and independently.
A part-time position is available.
The role of this position is simple - to provide the best quality care while our pet guests are staying with us! Oh yeah, there's lots of cleaning too, but also lots of love!
Responsibilities:
Weekend rotations are required Supervise and actively engage with pets Help to maintain a clean facility Provide a positive and safe environment Must work well with a team, and independently Must show confidence in working with patients and clients Must be able to lift 30 pounds without assistance Must have reliable transportation Must be willing to clean inside and outside the yard area Work different shifts as staff scheduling requires it
Qualifications:
Comfortable working with animals Highly adaptable to various situations Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture Prior experience in a professional boarding facility or daycare facility is preferred, but not required Must have open availability and able to work Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays.
Knowledge of dog body language is preferred! Being a team player! We look forward to receiving your emailed resume.

Shifts are scheduled with other employees and weekend/holiday shifts are required.
Shifts are from 7am-1pm and back again from 3pm-6pm or later.
