Experience:
One year of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Bookkeeping Receive and process student device-related payments for the department.
Match invoices with proper purchase orders; ensure completeness and accuracy of invoices and shipments.
Assist in detecting and resolving problems with incorrect work order tickets, payments and inventory needs.
Contact district personnel and technical support staff to correct or obtain information when needed.
Confirm funds owed at each campus and communicate funds to the campuses.
Provide principals and leadership with data reports specific to their areas.
Ensure that notifications are sent to families as needed as a reminder for payment.
eceiving Assist the Inventory Specialist with equipment receiving Document receiving practices as outlined in the district's processes Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods Assuring no damaged items are sent or received Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list Record and report overages, shortages and discrepancies Receive and sign for deliveries Store stock in an orderly manner in appropriate locations Correctly route items to relevant departments and process inter-district transfers Assure proper storage conditions Conduct regular cycle counts Comply with standard safety and operating procedures Records and Reports:
Maintain financial records related to student devices File office copies of payments, work order tickets and correspondence as directed Keep records up to date Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary Other:
Communicate current status of payments to campus staff.
Prepare correspondence using district computer.
Receive incoming calls, answer questions, and direct calls to the proper party.
Keep informed of and complies with state and district policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
